OK my bug's got charging problems. The ignition light doesn't go out when driving (it dims slightly) and my battery has gone flat. The entire electrical system in this car appears to have been botched and the addition of a Sparkrite alarm has done it no favours As I want to do things properly with this car, I'm wondering about the prospect of taking out all wiring and starting again with a fresh loom. I know Alex is a sparky, and I'm pretty sure the Rt Hon Westyfreak knows his way around a wiring diagram or two... ...any thoughts on where to get a loom? Or is it worth making one up? Has anyone done this on a bug...and more importantly - how much will it cost?
