Yep thanx to our rent going up,and bills and bloody life 
ive decided relunctently im going to have to sell my Bus 
and downgrade to probably a Bug or a type4? 
So here goes,where do i start my 1972 Doormobile was stood unused for 2 yrs after having loads spent on it on new metal,plus paint,but the geezer that did the work was a plank (being polite) as he did the underneath but didnt wax-oil or protect,so basicly ive had the front chassis redone and other rusting bits that needed doing for its mot etc,and yes it has patches on wheel arches and other areas,but is an honest bus and had the work to get it through its mot done and done o.k 
motor is a 1600cc stocker with a single bugpack!
reliability,well all who know me know its been to since i purchased middle of july 2006 (stock & boring then) Bug Jam,BVF,Le-Bug Show (Spa),Beachbuggin,VeeDubbin,Vanfest,Brighton Breeze including towing a trailor full of a Complete disco & numarous other meets,so motor and running gear reliability is good as all my dubs are and have been!
Now the bus was a stocker when i purchased her in july 06,but as all who know me knows i dont do stock ;D
So 1st i slammed her down so she has had a cali rust free front beam,with a foxy adjuster (new) put in,then both put on so you know theres not gonna be no beam issues for a long time!
to get her sitting as she does as i like a stance she has been turned 1 spline on rear,but the combination of 185/60/14s on rear & 165/60/14s on front on stock rims,makes the bus sit nice,but Absolutely!!! no rubbing or botteming out anywhere,and thats even when i have all the family,plus disco,trailer and friends in
interior is original Doormobile except the cupboard and buddy seat was missing,(replaced buddy seat is a wedge one,with 12" sub)and of course ive recovered the material!
its fully functanal & working,plus cooker aswell works and of course is the original and sits under front seat!
Roof canvas is o.k,the doormobile windows did leak as per norm,so ive clearsealed them up,but for purist youd probably put new seals in!
Bunks are there and work but because the bunks canvas is original they are slightly ripped so i have a spare set of (proper) doomobile bunks plus renewed canvas to go on them that will be included in the sale!
my bus is not the pretiest,or the most straightest,it has rust,its got bubbles,its been patched in places!
So if your after a dead straight resto-camper turn away now!
But if your after a 1972 Tax exempt Doormobile thats mot'd till november 2008,reliable as hell,ready to camp-in,slammed and not to bad of a looker! keep reading!
As it doesnt hide anything,what you see it what you get,and my dubs do get 100% of my life spent on them doing as best as i can to them to make them go well,reliable and look (hopefully) nice and turn heads! and my Doormi does trust me!
front bumper is missing due to having front chassis re-built the new holes need re-drilling to fit it back-on,plus the original bumper ends where rotten,so im getting another set to go on the bumber that was on,and then if i have time it will be thrown in to the sale! middle parts fine!
If i get what i need for her,Extra's like the roofrack (especialy) made for my bus ie bigger than a jk or creative 2 bow and ali,so lighter and rear ladder and side step,buddy seat & 12" sub,wicker parcel shelf will be included in the sale!
oh yes forgot also fully working towbar and electrics! is fitted!
i can supply more pics if needed! and of bad bits if neede!
mot'd till Feb 2008 and of course Tax exempt!
Everyone who knows me,knows i will be as honest as possible and ive never had comebacks on my dubs ive had to sell as everyone see's them everywhere,plus they know the distance i cover
