hey all,
im takin my bug off the road soon so i can do a big fat roof chop, and an even bigger fatter turbo!!
so ive decided as an in between car i need a mk1 caddy, 1.6 petrol ideally. cheap would also be a bonus, i dont mind the beaten up look.
anyone know any around??

YEAH!! TURBO!!!!!!! you can stick the turbo and manifold from a golf TD straight on a 1.6 petrol caddy engine, so il probly end up havin a caddy TURBO aswell. WOO HOO!!! ;D ;D

I'm a greenkeeper on a golf course! -And I didn't even think about golf caddy! I did see a red caddy on a drive in St. Stephen earlier, but I don't think it was for sale... We couldn't be much more help without actually finding one for sale!

cheers for your help guys, appreciated!! obviously not ruling out an aircooled in between car, but i do quite fancy a caddy.
